Katy Boulton – Production Manager

After gaining a first class degree in music from Oxford University Katy began her career at Welsh National Opera where she led numerous creative education projects.  In 1994 she moved into television, making documentaries and current affairs programmes for all the major broadcasters.

Katy became ‘poacher turned gamekeeper’ taking up a key role in broadcast regulator Ofcom’s content policy team in 2003.

Katy is now a freelance consultant, producing a wide range of events in association with various broadcasters and universities, including the University of Salford. She is also the Creative Director of the influential Nations and Regions Media Conference.
